Orthodontics
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance.
Remember that insurance policies can vary widely in their dental coverage. Dr. Jensen and team will review your insurance with you to determine the best course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims for you.

Prosthodontics
For restorative dental procedures, many of our patients request our assistance in the filing of insurance claims, and we are pleased to provide this service. However, we do request payment in full on the day the services are provided. We accept cash, check and all credit cards at Jensen Orthodontic Arts. In some circumstances, we offer third-party financing to help.
Your insurance company will be instructed to send a reimbursement check directly to you, the insured party. Dr. Doug Jensen and our team have chosen not to be on any insurance provider lists because we are unable to provide the variety of treatment options and the level of quality Dr. Jensen is capable of providing using their fee schedules.
We do not accept assignment of benefits, meaning we do not accept partial payment for treatment along with an insurance reimbursement check sent to our office. The contract is between you and your insurance company, not between the provider and the insurance company.
For this reason, the insurance company is more responsive to you, the patient, than to us. Insurance payments directly to you are made much more promptly (generally two to three weeks). If you make a payment by credit card, you will usually receive the insurance check before the credit card billing cycle.
